eiengineering Contractors Grapples Individually Designed for Greater Performance A heavy duty eiengineering Contractor’s or 5 finger grapple designed and built for specifically for your machine will greatly increase the versatility of your excavator, thus impacting on the variety of work you can accept and delivering optimum productivity in the most demanding applications. Because eiengineering Contractor’s Grapples are designed for each specific model - not mass produced as a “one fits all”, you will always work within safe working loads of your machine and get the best from your grapple. Uses There are many uses for the Contractor’s Grapple which is the most versatile attachment available. These grapples are ideal for demolition, picking rocks, scrap yards, land clearing, recycling, sorting materials, truck loading, etc.
All the hardened pins in our grapples are greaseable and hardened bushes are supplied for easy replacement to ensure long life through rugged conditions. The size of the grapple is approximately the same size as a standard digging bucket for each machine. This ensures that the excavator does not over-reach creating extra loading on the machine. The contractors grapple makes it very easy for operators to pick material from exacting positions. No Hydraulics required The eiengineering mechanical contractor’s grapple utilizes the bucket cylinder to actuate the moving half of the grapple which is the top 3 fingers of the grapple whist the static half closes the load onto the bottom 2 finger tynes of the grapple which is fixed by an arm connected to a three position bracket that is welded to the inside of the dipper arm. All necessary pins, brackets and connecting rods and arms are included. Manufacture Our compaction wheels are manufactured from Bisalloy which is 3.1 times stronger and abrasion resistant, than mild steel.

20 Tonne Grapple Design The all important design of the Contractor’s Grapple is such that the entire grapple is webbed to offer ultimate internal reinforcement strength in every direction, then boxed with Bisalloy plates to offer lateral strength and to stop material becoming lodged in areas where it may fall once the grapple is raised or tilted. All this means the ultimate in structural integrity under the toughest conditions. Our latest designs of the eiengineering Contractor’s Grapple also has three pin hole settings to gain greater height for use with trucks with hungry boards or to select material closer in to the excavator.
