CONVERSE ESSENTIALS RETURNS WITH NEW COLORS AND STYLES SPRING 2017 APPAREL COLLECTION — THE ULTIMATE STREET STYLE UNIFORM BOSTON, MASS. (January 31, 2017) – Hot off the heels of the Converse Essentials Apparel launch this past Fall, CONVERSE unveils the Spring 2017 Converse Essentials apparel collection of our highest quality fleece. To provide unmatched comfort, each detail was obsessed over to provide the consumer a premium uniform of street style. The Converse Essentials collection, offered for both men and women, consists of today’s apparel mainstays, including a long sleeve crewneck, a tee, pull-over hoodie, full-zip hoodie, pant and backpack. The pre-washed material allows for minimal shrinking with men’s pieces cut for a modern fit allowing for maximum movement and layering, and a women’s cut that is a bit more form fitting, both crafted for ultimate street style.
Elevated construction puts a twist on these tried and true silhouettes, for styles that consumers can wear day in and day out. The Converse Essentials long sleeve crewneck heroes the collection, and along with the rest of the assortment, achieves a flat lock construction to eliminate any bulk and discomfort. New for Spring 2017, Converse will introduce a short-sleeve crewneck and shorts for men. Key features and benefits include a 360gram legacy loopback fleece, a 4 needle flat lock stitch construction for enhanced durability and a reverse bound rib trim for strength. In addition to the short-sleeve crewneck and shorts, Converse is offering new seasonal colorways for both men and women.
Intricate and thoughtful details also can be found in the Converse Essentials Backpack, stacked with a Neoprene lined backside laptop sleeve, inner scratch resistant media pouch and water resistant front pocket. The exterior is constructed of a rubber-backed canvas and includes a grab handle on both the top and sides for better accessibility on the streets and subways. New colors for Spring 2017 are Fatigue, Navy, and Sand.
