Cookies Cup Classic This June school holidays, I’m proud to announce “Cookies Cup Classic!” This chess tournament invites all students in Grades 1-7 from all schools, who want to improve their current Queensland Junior Rating (QJR) or gain one. There will be two divisions: A Division: (700+) B Division: (UnRated-699) Prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd & Merits (players scoring 4.5/7 or more), in either division. Plus Best unrated player. Food and Drinks can be purchased from the canteen or pack a healthy lunch for the day. ●When: Wednesday 25 June ●Where: King’s Christian College Barista area ●Start Time: 9:00am arrival for a 9:30am Start ●Finish Time: 2:00pm Awards Presentation ●Cost: $10.00 payable on the day Please contact me if your child is interested in attending or a list of players from your school who want to compete by Tuesday 24 June.
