Inside
COPENHAGEN Say what you will about the Vikings—they had good taste in real estate. They obviously knew a great location when they saw (and conquered) one. Lucky for us, Copenhagen is no longer the seat of raiders, but is now the inviting capital city of Denmark. Though skyscrapers have been outlawed, you’ll find many modern touches, like progressive architecture alongside the traditional, scenic canals, colorful row houses and impressive museums. The Strøget, Europe’s longest route that allows only foot traffic, makes the city accessible to tourists and residents alike. The winter months can be cold and gray, but the average temperature is above freezing. Spring warms up quickly. And when the chill hits, you can always enjoy a warm mug of Glögg!
3. Comfortable shoes. “To compensate for the effect of the wonderful cobblestone streets.”—TripAdvisor Member, Tasmania

COPENHAGEN’S BEST VIEWS “From Our Savior’s Church, the views are lovely. You get a chance for a breather before climbing the spiral staircase to the top. This is the best part as you get constant views over Copenhagen as you climb. By far the best place to get a view of the city. On a clear day, you can see the Oresund Bridge and Sweden (Malmo). A must when visiting Copenhagen!”—TripAdvisor Member, United Kingdom Church of Our Savior, Skt Annægade 29, 32 54 68 83
