Mother Lode Ropes Trip
IMPORTANT DATES
On August 29-31 we will travel to Mother Lode River Center. This trip will focus on community and team building. Please meet in the Acadia room at 8am on Monday, and we will leave shortly after attendance is taken. We will return on Wednesday before loop. Please arrive at the normal pick up time and location. If you have not turned in your permission slip and waivers, please locate them on our Acadia page. The permission slip and waivers are due on August 19th. Due to planning and payments I will not be able to accept late permission slips. The cost of this trip is $250 per student.
Mother Lode River Center Trip Packing List appropriate seasonal clothing rain coat/poncho dry shoes and extra socks water bottle any necessary medications (in pharmacy container) sleeping bag + pad lace up shoes that can get wet toiletries and towel change of clothes insect repellant sunscreen flashlight * Please do not bring: electronic equipment (i.e. radios, gameboys etc.), valuables, candy, gum, or anything that would not be appropriate to bring to school.
August 17: First day of Middle School 29-31: Mother Lode River Center Immersion Trip September 1: Tech Night 6: Cycle 1: Connections 7: Early Release Day 13: Picture Day 21: Early Release Day Orientation Cycle Over the course of the first three weeks of school we will be focusing on building our community, learning the new procedures for our classroom, and creating our community expectations. Most of our work during this time will be completed in class. September 3rd is the first day of Cycle one: Connections. It will be at this point that there will be about an hour’s worth of work each night. AERIES Gradebook The information to create your log in for your child’s AERIES account has been sent home with your child.
