CoreNet Global NEwsletter A Message From the President Dear CoreNet Global New England Members: Our fall season is officially underway. Although our favorite sports teams “play for championships,” our Patriots got off to a rough start and our Red Sox fell short of their ultimate goal. I assure you that our Chapter is not suffering the same fate – it’s going strong with amazing programs and some exciting leadership news. Our incoming Executive Director, Trish Fields, joined our Chapter on October 1, 2017. Trish has tremendous experience in managing professional and trade organizations and will be working with Carol over the next several months to transition the responsibilities of this critical role. Please be sure to welcome Trish at our upcoming events. We’ve had a tremendous lineup of programs, seminars and educational initiatives so far this Fall, including: • On September 12, CoreNet Global New England commenced the second class of our Leadership 2.0 Program with 16 seasoned and accomplished New England Chapter members. • On September 26, the New England Chapter collaborated with the CoreNet Paris and North Carolina Chapters to present a cutting-edge educational event titled “Mergers and Acquisitions: Best Strategies for Global Real Estate Portfolio.” • On October 25, the third class from our Young Leaders Leadership Development Program hosted a morning educational program, “The E-Commerce Effect,” with a full-capacity attendance and rave reviews. These 12 stellar Young Leaders will graduate on November 16 at our Annual Awards of Excellence Dinner.
“We must find time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives.” John F. Kennedy
Looking ahead to November 5 through November 8, more than 100 members of the New England Chapter will attend the CoreNet Global Summit in Seattle. If you have not had a chance to register, it’s not too late to do so. Please stay tuned for a supplemental newsletter which we will publish in advance of the Global Summit to highlight the many talented CoreNet Global New England members who will be presenting at the Summit or receiving recognition. I am proud to dedicate the Fall newsletter to our superb committees and 200+ dedicated volunteers who make our Chapter better each day. I’m inspired by the words of John F. Kennedy and would like to take this opportunity to congratulate and thank each of our committees, our committee chairs and each volunteer of our Chapter. I am continually humbled and impressed by the creativity, tireless dedication, commitment and enthusiasm of our committees, committee chairs and volunteers. My heartfelt thanks to each of you for making our Chapter so successful. I look forward to what we will together accomplish in the coming months. Please mark your calendars and join us for what will be an exciting Fall season. I encourage you to call on the Board of Directors, Committee Chairs and me, and let us help you maximize your membership and get more involved in the Chapter. Many thanks,
Cynthia Keliher President, CoreNet Global New England Board of Directors

Young Leaders The CoreNet NE Young Leaders have had a very successful and busy year to date. We've offered multiple educational and social events as well as a series of ACCESS lunches with leaders like Mark Marguiles, Karen Pritchard, Greg Klemmer, Marisa Fava and Kristin Poulin. The group ended the summer and pushed into Labor Day with a roof deck summer mixer, attracting over 100 people to the beautiful views of downtown Boston from the 53 State Street roof. The fall and end of year is shaping up to be even more exciting with an upcoming wine tasting in November and our annual holiday party to benefit a local children's charity. We also have more ACCESS lunches lined up as well as an educational program of two in the works. The Young Leader Committee is working hard to recruit the next generation of future industry leaders to CoreNet. Major goals for the group include forging stronger connections among the YL community, providing more exposure to opportunities and events, and increasing awareness. The group is growing larger every day and the Young Leaders look forward to strengthening their relationships within the CRE industry. If you find yourself at any of our upcoming events, please help us spread the word about all the great events we have by tagging us on social media using our new hashtag #CoreNetNEYL!
