Cornell University Track & Field GREG PAGE RELAYS SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2017 PARKING: A parking map is attached. Teams should enter along Tower Road to drop athletes off in front of Barton Hall. Buses should follow the attached map and park in the B lot across from the Vet School. Team vans can park in any available spots in the parking lots around campus. MEET ENTRANCE: Please note that starting at 10:30 am the Garden Ave doors to Barton Hall (nearest the throwing cage) will be closed. From that point on all athletes, coaches and spectators will have to walk around the building and enter on the Statler Hotel side of the building. TEAM INFORMATION AND ENTRY FEE: Team information and check-in will take place under the scoreboard near the finish line. Coaches can pick up meet schedules, heat sheets, relay cards, and pay their entry fee here. UNATTACHED ATHLETE INFORMATION: 1. Please pay your entry fee upon arrival at the officials table set up near the finish line. 2. All unattached athletes must have a valid USATF membership. You should either e-mail me the membership ID ahead of time or be prepared to present it when paying your entry fee when you arrive, before you compete. 3. Cornell meet management assumes no responsibility for how your participation as an unattached athlete in our meet may impact your eligibility as a high school or college athlete. It is your responsibility to know the rules and regulations of your state federation as well as how competing unattached may impact your NCAA eligibility. RELAY NAME CHANGES If you need to change the names of any relay team members from what you submitted online, relay cards should be filled out and turned in at the finish line.

FIELD EVENT INFORMATION: Men’s high jump 1.85-1.90-1.95-1.98-2.01-2.04….3cm continue throughout Women’s high jump at 1.50-1.55-1.58-1.61-1.64….3cm continue throughout Men’s pole vault 4.05-4.20-4.35-4.50-4.65-4.80-4.90-4.95…5cm continue throughout Women’s pole vault 3.05-3.20-3.35-3.50-3.65-3.80-3.90-3.95…5cm continue throughout we will have the following minimum measurements in the field events: Men’s long jump = 6.00 meters Women’s long jump = 4.90 meters Men’s triple jump = 12.20 meters Women’s triple jump = 10.00 meters Men’s Shot Put = 12.00 meters Men’s Weight Throw = 12.00 meters Women’s Shot Put = 10.00 meters Women’s Weight Throw = 12.00 meters ***EIGHT WILL ADVANCE TO FINALS*** - Flights will go worst to best, with top eight going straight to finals. - If anyone from a previous flight makes the final, they will be given a brief warmup period. RUNNING EVENTS: - Spikes must be ¼ inch or less - Women will run first in all events EXCEPT the 60m Hurdle FINALS. - The 60H finals will be run Men first then women. -Dash finals advancement will be top 8 based on time. - The clerking table will be in the SW Corner of the track (opposite side from the finish line). Athletes in all events EXCEPT the 300 can check in anytime up to 20 minutes prior to their event starting to get their hip numbers. They then must be at the start line as called by the officials. - The 300m dash will have a declaration and check in time. Declarations will begin at 1:00pm and end at 2:00pm. ALL ATHLETES ENTERED IN THE 300M MUST REPORT BETWEEN 1:00 and 2:00 to declare their intent to compete. If an athlete does not declare, they will be scratched!! After declarations close athletes will return to the clerks table 20 minutes prior to the 300m dash to get their heat assignments and pick up their hip numbers. - If possible we will move up to 10 minutes ahead on the final schedule (listed below). It is your athletes’ responsibility to be aware if the meet is ahead of schedule. - For all dash and hurdle events. Cornell will provide the only starting blocks that may be used. Fastest eight times will advance to a final. Blocks allowed in Championship heat of the 300 and 500 meters only. RESULTS: All results will be posted following each race and field event.
