Jenn Farwell, AED Specialist Approval of March 2017 Meeting Minutes: Motion to approve the March 2017 Meeting Minutes Motioned by: Beth Lamb Seconded by: David Jones Discussion: None Vote: All yes Motion Carried: Yes Board President’s Report: Board of Director’s resignation – Jenny Mills has resigned from the Board because of too many conflicts in her schedule to allow adequate attendance. She expressed an interest in CCE in another capacity, if possible. Board of Director’s vacancies – Two more vacancies to fill Board of Director’s appointments – Corey Mosher appointed Dakota Kelsy to the Board. She has an equine background, as well as 4-H. Welcome, Dakota. ED update: 14 candidates have been narrowed to 7 for phone interviews, which are being held tomorrow, April 21st. Once narrowed down to the final candidates, we will need Board members, not on the search committee, to show the candidates a sample of our county, staff, buildings, etc. This will take approximately 1-½ hours per candidate. Finance Report: Finance Manager – Mary Teller is retiring May31, 2017 her last day is May 4th. Motion to temporarily have Donna Gatto act as Finance Manager until a decision is made on how to proceed with post permanently. Motioned by: David Jones Seconded by: Nate Discussion: Options for a future permanent decision to be made regarding this post. Tabled for future meeting to gather more information. The bus lease issue was resolved and we may own them money – not sure of the cost yet. New Business: Liz shared the 2017 CCE Admin. template to guide development of the Constitution of the CCE Assoc of Madison County, State of NY. The constitution needs to be reviewed every 3 years. Two Constitution template procedure models were passed out for review and discussed. Motion to: Approve the template model presented – Directly Elected model - beginning January 1, 2017 Motioned by: David Hatch Seconded by Beth Lamb Discussion: None Vote: All Yes Motion Carried: Yes Executive Directors Report: Staff vacancy – Liz C. shared that the 4-H Subject Educator position does not currently have enough applicants to move ahead at this time.
