RIHS Class of 1961 Scholarship Fund
The Rock Island Class of 61 has a scholarship fund through the Rock Island-Milan Education Foundation. In 2016 awards totaling $5,000 were made to ten graduating seniors. The Scholarship Fund was established in 2013 by the RIHS Class of 1961 to provide scholarships to deserving Rocky graduates. The goal of the Scholarship Fund is to raise $100,000 so annual awards of approximately $5,000 can be awarded from the earnings of the Fund principal. To date, approximately $40,000 has been raised from about 100 classmates and friends of classmates. Awards totaling $14,500 have been made in 2014, 2015 and 2016 to 28 graduates. Scholarship for Golf is to help reach our Fund goal. Please consider sponsoring a hole.
Hole Sponsorship: $100 • Sign at tee box • Bulletin Board recognition at Dinner • Pride of donating Hole Sponsors may also designate a foursome at the reduced price of $40 per player. Use the attached sign up form. NOTE: There may be more than one sponsor per hole
