: Block 3
Cutting Directions for 1 Block : (Make Two for Quilt Layout) From both the Black Fabric cut:
- (4) Shape #2 - (8) Shape #5 From each of the Pink & Purple Fabrics cut: - (4) Shape #5 From each of the Blue & Green Fabrics cut: - (2) Shape #2
Piecing Instructions
Layout (1) Black #5 & (1) Pink #5 as shown.
Sew Triangles together and press towards the Pink.
Repeat previous (2) steps to make a total of (4) Pink Half Square Triangles (HST) and (4) Purple HST.
Layout (4) Black Shape #2, (4) Pink HST’s, (4) Purple HST’s, (2) Blue Shape #2, and (2) Green Shape #2
Sew units into rows pressing seams in opposite directions.
Sew rows together pressing seams in the same direction. Block should measure 12-1/2” x 12-1/2” 9-1/2” x 9-1/2” 8-1/2” x 8-1/2” 6-1/2” x 6-1/2”
Repeat all steps to make a total of (2) Blocks
