Dear Parents and Carers, This week I have been spending time reflecting on the amazing work we do at Courtlands and sharing it with our new colleagues at ACE Multi Academy Trust. I have been talking about my desire for our school to be rightly recognised across both the city and the region for the excellent support our children receive. I have a real passion for broadening our reach outwards to pupils in other schools who have not been lucky enough to gain a place here, but need our help nonetheless. To be fair to ourselves, we already have a powerful reputation for finding ways of helping children when no one else can, and never saying no to requests for support within the city. I am sure you will support me in my little quest to help more children the way we have helped yours. We would never have got the reputation we have without your support in the first place! Have a great weekend! Lee Earnshaw Head Teacher

Oak Contribution This week Oak class visited the climbing wall at Marjons. We really enjoyed it! “I was scared but I did it!” Drew “It was so cool and fun!” Darran “It was nerve-wracking and I was worried to the bone. It was both amazing and death-defying.” Harley “I felt like I was in a new world. I was excited.” Cameron “When I looked down I was scared because it was really high. It was cool!” Louis “I was scared by the height but I enjoyed it in the end.” Alfie “I was scared at first but I got braver and went to the top. I felt great!” Caleb “It was fun.” Kian
