Covenant Reading Plan Welcome to the study of Covenant! Each day will focus on a passage of Scripture from Ruth, Esther or Song of Songs. For the full experience, we invite you to read the daily reading before reading the First 5 teaching for that day. Day 1 Reading: Ruth 1 Major Moment: Ruth chooses to stay with Naomi after her husband dies. Day 2 Reading: Ruth 2 Major Moment: Ruth gleans from Boaz’s field. Day 3 Reading: Ruth 3 Major Moment: Ruth approaches Boaz about redeeming her. Day 4 Reading: Ruth 4:1-12 Major Moment: Boaz and Ruth are married and have a son. Day 5 Reading: Ruth 4:13-22 Major Moment: Boaz and Ruth are married and have a son. Day 6 Reading: Esther 1 Major Moment: King Xerxes removes his wife, Vashti, from the throne. Day 12 Reading: Esther 6 Major Moment: King Xerxes honors Mordecai. Day 13 Reading: Esther 7 Major Moment: Queen Esther intercedes on behalf of her people and Haman is put to death.
