Consent Agenda Item 7-g Recommendation by the District Facilities Department for the post approval of the quote from Viper Underground Inc., to locate and rerun the main water line at Wamsutter in the amount of $69,710.00 with an additional time and material base of $400.00 per hour, as needed, should they run into any other issues in locating the old water line to plug and cap. This was an unexpected expense that was discovered when the old water main could not be shut off for the sprinkler system install. The old water line was rusted out and undersized. Viper Underground is our contractor of record, the Town of Wamsutter contractor of record and currently doing work in the Wamsutter area. This project will be funded through Major Maintenance dollars.
