Diapers for Detroit Supporting the Brightmoor Initiative Families Diaper Collection March through May Did you know government assistance programs do NOT cover diapers and diapers cost over $900 per year for one child. Birmingham First Children and Family Ministries, First Kids Preschool, Shine and Berkley First are teaming up to collect diapers for Brightmoor. Diapers are a basic need for children, essential to their health, emotional well-being and educational opportunities. Our goal is to collect 14,000 diapers from March to May. Proceeds from this Craft and Crop will benefit Diapers for Detroit.

We will be in the Social Hall in the basement of the building. An elevator is available. You may want to bring a small personal fan or sweater.

You are welcome to bring your favorite drink and snack. A refrigerator and microwave are available for use. Alcohol is not allowed. Bring a snack for the group and receive an extra ticket for the door prize drawing. Additional parking is available behind the Rite Aid at the corner of 12 Mile and Wakefield. Wifi is available. Trading table available. Bring your craft leftovers (papers, stamps, stickers, embellishments, etc.) to trade with others.
