Crawfish Facts Crawfish are freshwater crustaceans found on every continent except Africa. They look like lobsters but are smaller. Crawfish range in size from 3 to 10 inches, depending on the species and location. They grow thoughout a series of molts, meaning they shed their shells and produce new ones. A crawfish doubles in size with each molt. Baby crawfish are about the size of a mosquito.

You will need:

-One toilet paper roll -One 6-inch stryofoam or paper bowl -Scissors -Pencil -Plastic lid or bowl to hold glue -Aproximately 30 brown cotton balls* -Glue -One plastic or paper crawfish -Brown spray paint -Newspaper or waxed paper

*To make brown cotton balls, lay cotton balls out on brown newspaper or waxed paper. Spray with brown spray paint (only tops need to be painted).

2. Use scissors to cut out the traced circle from the bowl. 3. Stand toilet paper roll in hole. 4. Squeeze glue into plastic lid or bowl. 5. Dip brown cotton balls into glue (if using painted cotton balls, dip the white side into the glue). 6. Attach cotton balls to cover the bowl and the toilet paper holder. Cover completely. 7.
