Come use our classroom and join a fun group of ladies! We’ll order pizza! Learn to make and insert piping with your serger as well as use the rolled hem for an embellishment detail. Come and enjoy a day of sewing without interruption and visit with other QOV sewers! We will have kits available if you do not have a QOV to work on. A small bucket bag for carrying the essentials. Front pocket is great for keeping keys and a cell phone close at hand. Corrine has mastered the Bernina Stitch Regulator and you can too! Students who don’t have the BSR are welcome to come learn, also. Minimum 2 students. This is a 10-month embroidery block of the month program. Designs are multi-format, so ALL brands of embroidery machines can participate! Choose “Sewn Seeds” by Hoopsisters block size 5”, 6”, 7”, 8”, 9” OR one of many Anita Goodesign BOM collections to create a quilt, table runner, or wall hanging. We suggest using Christmas Mash-up or Holiday Stripes as a starting point. Make a throw quilt that folds up into a pillow. We will be sewing blocks to make the quilt top, then sandwich and bind. Our kids’ classes are designed to help students learn the correct sewing techniques! No experience necessary. Sewing machines are provided. Sign up soon, as space is very limited. Embroider on a set of kitchen mitts while using a pattern that makes the folded star center a snap. This is the 4th of 6 Sarah Vedeler classes using McCall’s Quilting magazine. Come use our classroom and join a fun group of ladies! We’ll order pizza! Learn to make and insert piping with your serger as well as use the rolled hem for an embellishment detail. Come and enjoy a day of sewing without interruption and visit with other QOV sewers! We will have kits available if you do not have a QOV to work on. A small bucket bag for carrying the essentials. Front pocket is great for keeping keys and a cell phone close at hand. Corrine has mastered the Bernina Stitch Regulator and you can too! Students who don’t have the BSR are welcome to come learn, also. Minimum 2 students. This is a 10-month embroidery block of the month program. Designs are multi-format, so ALL brands of embroidery machines can participate! Choose “Sewn Seeds” by Hoopsisters block size 5”, 6”, 7”, 8”, 9” OR one of many Anita Goodesign BOM collections to create a quilt, table runner, or wall hanging. We suggest using Christmas Mash-up or Holiday Stripes as a starting point. Make a throw quilt that folds up into a pillow. We will be sewing blocks to make the quilt top, then sandwich and bind. Our kids’ classes are designed to help students learn the correct sewing techniques! No experience necessary. Sewing machines are provided. Sign up soon, as space is very limited. Embroider on a set of kitchen mitts while using a pattern that makes the folded star center a snap. This is the 4th of 6 Sarah Vedeler classes using McCall’s Quilting magazine. In this class you can do embroidery or hand appliqué or fusible appliqué. Chose a method now or wait until the class meets to decide, but you should select and purchase your fabrics now.
