Embroidery machine with 6x10 (160x260mm) or 8x8 (200x200mm) embroidery hoop

Floriani Chrome Embroidery needle size 90/14

5 to 8 Coordinating fabrics: o 1 piece at least 7x10” for backing: o 1 piece at least 4x4” for center patch, o
1 piece at least 3x4” patch 2

1 piece at least 5x3 for patch 3
o 1 piece at least 6x5 for patch 4 o 1 piece at least 6x4 for patch 5 o 1 piece at least 7x5 for patch 6 o 1 piece at least 5x4 for patch 7 Avoid directional fabrics, or fabrics with a busy print. I used 7 different fabrics, but you could repeat fabrics. You will need at least 4 different fabrics for the front. •
1-piece batting at least 7x10”. I recommend Floriani Embroidery Batting.

Floriani Cut a Way stabilizer (non-fusible) or Sulky Cut a Way Plus (non-fusible)

Scissors for trimming appliqué and batting

Embroidery thread to match/contrast with fabrics: I used 6 different threads to coordinate with my fabrics for the motif stitches, and 5 shades of brown to gold for the pumpkin, leaves, and owl, and swirl.

Corner turner for poking out corners of rug when it is turned.
•
¼ inch Steam a Seam 2 for sealing opening after turning the project
