COMMUNITY RECREATION COMPLEX PARCEL TAX BYLAW NO. 4001
A Bylaw to establish a Community Recreation Complex Parcel Tax. ______________________________________________________________________________ The Council of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam enacts as follows: Citation 1.
This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as "Community Recreation Complex Parcel Tax Bylaw, 2017, No. 4001".
Administration 2.
A Parcel Tax is hereby imposed upon the owners of all land or real property in the City of Port Coquitlam as a single amount for each parcel.
3.
The Parcel Tax imposed pursuant to Section 2 of this Bylaw is for the purpose of funding the construction of the Community Recreation Complex project.
4.
The Parcel Tax imposed pursuant to Section 2 of this Bylaw shall be imposed in 2017 and each year thereafter until 2020.
5.
The Parcel Tax imposed pursuant to Section 2 of this Bylaw shall be $25.00 (twenty-five dollars) per parcel.
6.
The Collector is hereby directed to prepare a parcel tax roll pursuant to Section 202 of the Community Charter.
