To view a list of the General Education Requirements, please visit our online catalog: fscj.edu/asge CAREER OPTIONS Graduates of this program are prepared for careers in local, state and federal first responder agencies as well as positions other public safety positions, such as public safety project managers, public safety and regulatory specialist, public safety compliance manager. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of police and detectives is expected to grow by seven percent from 2010 to 2020. Continued demand for public safety will lead to new openings for workers in local departments; however, both state and federal jobs may be more competitive.
