Crockett Socrates students ‘Build a Better Business’ Sixth grade Socrates students at Crockett Intermediate School recently participated in a “Build a Better Business” activity. Students studied marketing, consumer awareness, and business models used in industry for ideas. Students chose products to market and sell to classmates for Valentine’s Day. They creating a sales campaign and displayed publicity posters around the school. The student body, faculty, and staff visited the cafeteria to purchase items made by the students. This project required logical thinking, creative problem solving, risk taking, and communication. Hopefully, these students will use this experience to start their own business in Paris one day.
