Angel Fund Opportunity Another wonderful opportunity has come forth to increase the funds in our Angel Fund which is Holy Cross Catholic School’s primary way to grant families scholarships to enable them to send their children to our school.
Dress Code Reminder As the cold weather approaches, please remember to follow the dress code in regards to pant wear: Jeans or dress pants (NO STRETCH PANTS, LEGGINGS, OR ATHLETIC PANTS) Jeans should be newer looking without holes, appropriate length Khaki, navy or black (Khaki is tan, not brown or dark green)
An anonymous benefactor has come forward with a $10,000 matching donation to the Angel Fund. For Holy Cross Catholic School to receive the full $10,000 a monetary match must be made; if $10,000 in separate donations is received from now until December 31st, the donor will give the Angel Fund a matching $10,000. This is a great opportunity to raise a total of $20,000 for a great cause! If you or someone you know would like to donate to the “Angel Fund Matching Grant,” please send money directly to Holy Cross Catholic School or contact the school at (952) 652-6100.
Also, as a reminder, please have your child dress according to the dress code on Mass days: No blue jeans, shorts, capris or Holy Cross School athletic team apparel shirts or sweatshirts No flip flops No boots or slipper shoes In regards to winter outerwear, please make sure your child dresses appropriately. Each grade does take at least one outside break during the day. Hats, mittens/gloves, winter jacket/coat, and boots are a must, especially for the younger children. Students who do not wear boots are only allowed to be on tarred surfaces. Thank you in advance for ensuring that your child is adhering to the dress code. If you would like a complete copy of the Dress Code Policy, please contact the school office at (952) 652-6100.

Halloween Candy Donation
In the Classrooms . . . Congratulations!
Cosmopolitan Orthodontics in Lakeville is again offering a “Donate Candy for your Library” contest for area schools. Cosmopolitan Orthodontics organizes a “Candy Buy Back” program, which allows students to turn in their Halloween candy into the Cosmopolitan Orthodontics office who will donate that candy to our wonderful and much deserving US troops. In addition, they will package toothbrushes and toothpaste to help after a candy snack. Cosmopolitan Orthodontics typically collect anywhere from 500 to 1,000 pounds and have had great success with this program. The school that donates the most candy (measured by pound) will win a $1000 donation to their school library! How it works: For each student that drops off candy at either of the two Cosmopolitan Orthodontic offices and lets them know which school they represent, their candy donation will count towards that school. When: Drop off day for the candy is on Friday, Nov 1 from 8-5pm.
