This is a “no coach necessary” tournament. Some teams will not have coaches, some will. We are asking that parents and coaches aid with substitutions only, but please allow the players to make their own strategic decisions.

Let’s have fun!

(FIFA RULES APPLY IF NOT MODIFIED WITHIN)

BEFORE THE GAME: - Arrive 30 minutes prior to your first game in order to warm-up and check-in. - All players must submit a waiver prior to the first game (see page 3) and $25. - Snacks and water will be provided for all tournament participants. - Please try to wear the color suggested for your team. Matching uniforms are not required. - All players must wear shin guards. - Parents, coaches and all fans should be prepared to act in the nature of good sportsmanship at all times. The tournament is intended to allow athletes to gain game experience while developing leadership and collaboration skills. DURING THE GAME - Games will consist of two 10-minute halves with a 1 minute half time rest. - The kick-off can be taken in any direction and is indirect. - Substitutions may be made on any dead ball, regardless of possession. - The ball may be kicked in to play from the sideline instead of a thrown-in. - There is no off-sides. - Goals may not be scored from a team’s defensive half of the field. The ball must be on the team’s offensive half for the offensive team to score. - No slide tackling is allowed. - All free kicks are indirect (including the kick-off and sideline kick-ins) and will be awarded at the place of the foul. If the defensive players’ goal area is closer than four yards, the ball is placed four yards from the goal area in line with the place of the penalty. - Goal kicks can be taken from any point on the goal half circle. - Players may not enter the goal area (designated by a semi-circle) until after the ball enters the goal area. With defensive violations, the offensive team will be awarded an indirect free-kick, 4 yards from the goal line. With offensive violations, the defensive team will be awarded a goal kick.

There are no goalkeepers. Pool play games tied after regulation play shall end in a tie. Playoff games cannot end tied and will enter a 10 minute (5 minute halves) “golden goal” over time period. If a tie remains, penalty kicks will be used. For each bracket, a seeding will be determined using a 10 point system: 3 points for a win; 1 point for a tie and 0 points for a loss; 1 point for a shutout; 1 point for each goal scored up to 6. FORFEITS: A forfeit is scored as 4-0.

AFTER THE GAME: - Prizes will be awarded to the 1st place overall team in each bracket.

** If you have registered online, you have already submitted this waiver.**
