SOWING AND GROWING

Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at approx. 25°C (78°F) using a good quality, moist compost. Cover seeds with 13mm (½") compost. Ensure night temperature does not drop below 20°C (68°F) (Germination 6-9 days). Transplant seedlings singly into 75mm (3") pots,then when two true leaves have formed, plant into the greenhouse border, grow bags or large pots spacing plants 45cm (18") apart. May be grown outside in a sunny position. Remove any male flowers which form. Sowing ➞ Cropping approx. 12 weeks.
