Current Sermon Series (Jesus Is Enough) God is so good! Sunday morning was a special me for us as a faith family. It was a real blessing from God as we gathered together around the altar to pray for our church. May we always be a Church founded on truth as well as one that is living out that truth! This Sunday we will be looking at Colossians 1: 15 - 23 and answering the ques on, Who is Jesus? I was blessed Sunday Night as I got to hear five-year-old Sawyer Coleman quote Colossians 1: 15. It is exci ng to see our faith family memorize the Word together. We will all try to memorize Colossians 1: 15 - 16 this week: "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all crea on. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authori es—all things were created through him and for him."

I saw this quote yesterday and thought is was just perfect. Some mes we get so wrapped up in other things that we miss out on His breathtaking character that surrounds us each day. "If you don't see the greatness of God then all the ngs that money can buy become very exci ng. If you can't see the sun you will be impressed with a street light. If you've never felt thunder and lightning you'll be impressed with fireworks. And if you turn your back on the greatness and majesty of God you'll fall in love with a world of shadows and short-lived pleasures." My prayer for us all this week, in such a fast paced me of year, that in all circumstances, we see His beauty and are able to share that with others.
