Solid-core housing models are ideal for new equipment installations where the conductor wire is run through the fixed aperture. Solid-core housing models are ideal for new equipment installations where the conductor wire is run through the fixed aperture.

POWER

Split-core models are perfect for retrofit applications because the housing can be opened to fit around an existing conductor. As such, split-core current sensors are easy to install, without re-wiring and shutting down a process for long periods of time. The simplicity of installing split-core models reduces overall installation costs. Note: For DIN rail mounting kit see 416-0361 (EDINKIT). Features: Complete Family of AC and DC Current Sensors Handy Features Such as Split-Core Housings That Wrap Around Existing Wires, and Completely Self-Powered Models

5-Year Warranty Field Adjustable Current Settings and a Variety of Output Types (Analog and Discrete)

Perfect for Providing Predictive Diagnostics on Machine Equipment, Monitoring and Feedback, Over Current Detection, and Energy Reduction UL and CE Approvals

Switches Current switches are set to trip at an over or undercurrent condition. A change in current will send an output signal notifying of an unwanted event. Current switches are designed with fixed or adjustable trip points and are ideal for providing information on AC electrified equipment.

ECS Series

INTERCONNECT

The ECS Series can sense continuous currents from 1 to 150 A and does not require any supply voltage, as the power required is induced from the monitored conductor. The output is a non-polarity-sensitive solid-state contact for switching AC and DC circuits up to 240 VAC/VDC. Stock No.

Sensors Current sensors operate by monitoring current flow in equipment. The current magnitude is converted into a linear and proportional analog signal (4-20 mA, 0-5 V or 0-10 V). Small changes in current can be detected, avoiding costly repairs and mechanical problems before they occur. These sensors are magnetically isolated, contain internal signal conditioning, are safer to use than current transformers, do not require additional circuitry, and are completely self-contained in one compact package. Sensor — EVT Series Eaton’s VoltageWatch™ Sensors are designed to monitor AC voltages to allow a monitoring system to detect conditions where supply voltage is above or below normal. Detecting such conditions helps users avoid problems commonly associated with voltage irregularities, such as motor overheating, damage to drives due to regeneration, and loss of phase.
