Justine is a skilled Human Resources (HR) practitioner with an extensive background in operational and strategic HR, workplace relations and policy development. She is passionate about nurturing positive culture and diversity in the workplace and has conducted internal mediations and conciliations to resolve workplace conflict. She has also implemented leadership and professional conduct training programs to foster healthy communication and practice. Prior to joining Worklogic in July 2014, Justine led a team of senior HR staff at Monash University and was responsible for managing the institution’s full suite of HR policies. A key accountability of her position was delivering a robust probation and performance development framework that underpinned the University’s academic excellence strategy. In this role Justine also led organisation-wide projects designed to ensure regulatory compliance and achieve business efficiencies. Prior to her role at Monash University, Justine held the position of People and Development Manager at the Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF), where she was particularly proud of realising ACF’s inaugural Indigenous Cadetship. In a former professional life, Justine wrote more than a dozen Lonely Planet guidebooks and produced a significant body of work on domestic and international human rights issues. She is also the Secretary of a small non-profit organisation which supports some of the world’s most disadvantaged communities.
