This is always the fun part for me! As a visual person, I read magazines like novels and scour Pinterest, pinning til my hearts desire..... If you do not have one, create a pinterest account now! Now I want you to create a board, specifically for this step. I don't care if you keep in private or public, or what you name it. Next: Go to your favorite sites, and pin all the things you LOVE to the BOARD. (I created the image above from pins on my board) This will now become your online "mood board" If you are more into clipping and pasting magazines onto an actual piece of oaktag, I say Go For It!

Colors

okay, now that you have all of your heart swooning pics in place. Lets pick those colors that attracted you to them. For this there are several apps and sites. I like Colorzilla.com, it is compatible with both chrome and firefox. Adobe also has great features if you have it. Pick out and get the hex code for the ones you really love (try to stick to 5-6, you don't want to overwhelm yourself or potential clients) Once you have your colors, save and keep for easy access. If you want to get fancy go into canva.com and create these cute little buttons with your codes.

Fonts

Fonts can be one of the hardest and easiest things to do. Just like picking your colors, there will be many that you like to choose from. I say make sure you LOVE them, and remember that these will be all over your work, website, business cards, etc... It is best to not use generic fonts, so if your budget allows for it go ahead and purchase your fonts. This way you know that others will not be using them (at least a very select few). You can search on etsy.com or creative market.com for some beautiful fonts at a reasonable price.

Something Bold to grab attention Something more fun, like       hand  or  Script And something simple that won't hurt your readers eyes (especially if you are a blogger)

Creation You've Done it! Ready to get fancy and put it all together? Here we go....I use canva, but you are welcome to use picmonkey or any other preferred tool. You will now be able to reference back to this board anytime you want to make sure you are sticking to your brand colors, and style. HAPPY BRANDING!
