What Each Share Looks Like.
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. CSA provides a direct link and responsible relationship between people and the food they eat, the land it grows on, and who grows it. With a pre-‐season payment CSA members will receive a weekly “share” of the season’s harvest from the end of June through mid-‐October.
Traditional CSA Produce Share: You will receive one share per week of diverse, high-‐quality vegetables for 16 weeks. The full share feeds 3-‐4 people, or a half share feeds 1-‐2 people.
CSA Benefits E veryone. Community Supported Agriculture is a mutually beneficial commitment between farmers and their community. Benefits include: Eating fresh and healthy foods, keeping your money local, and contributing to sustainability by reducing your “food miles”.
Farmers Market CSA Share: Want to support our farm but would like more flexibility in your selection? Increase your buying power by selecting your choice of produce at the Dancing Crane Farm booth during the Saturday Marquette farmers market or through the individual ordering system. Pay in full before February 28 and your $200 will give you a credit to spend $220 with DCF. For $300 you get $330, and for $400 you get $440. Credit must be used during the 2014 season.
