Dancing Kangaroo Tours – Groupon Proposal
Our vision is “to create opportunities for like-minded people to share great moments whilst enjoying Melbourne’s beautiful wineries and local attractions.” We believe that a winery tour should be conversational and fun so our tours are limited to groups of 6 to 12 people. So hop on board with our fun tour guide and let the great taste of wine, food & friends get you dancing.
Proposed Itinerary: Yarra Valley Region 09:30 - Pick up from a central CBD location: corner of Swanston & Flinder Street - In front of the St Paul’s Cathedral. Complimentary snacks & water will be provided in the mini-bus. 10:45 - First visit to a winery such as Dominique Portet Winery for a guided tour of their winery facilities where we learn how wine (white, red & sparkling) is made followed by a “Premium Tasting” experience in their Barrel Room. 11:45 - Visit to the beautifully scenic Maroondah Reservoir Park where there are opportunities to sight native birds, animals, native & exotic plants, and of course the Maroondah dam with its panoramic view of the Yarra Valley landscape. - We will then organise a lunch here where Sean will prepare a selection of baguettes, a large charcuterie board of hams, salami & cheeses as well as bread and condiments. Non-alcoholic refreshments will also be provided to compliment the food. Please contact Sean to discuss any dietary needs. - You are also welcome to bring your own lunch. 13:00 - 15:30 - Visit to 2-3 wineries for a group tasting. By the end of the tasting experience we will have a general idea of the varietals as well as characteristics of wine produced in the Yarra Valley. Importantly, we will have the opportunity to visit a selection of wineries ranging from small boutique family-run to popular and established wineries. 16:00 - Visit to the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery for a quick sugar or caffeine hit. 16:30 - Relax as we cruise back to the drop off location via the freeway arriving around approx. 5:45pm.

Adult - $135 Child - $85 Maximum number per tour is 12 passengers, whereby the minimum is 6 passengers. Child must be aged between 2-17 years old. Please refer to DK Tours’ “Terms & Conditions” page for participation information and responsibilities. All bookings are to be made via email to: [email protected] This tour only operates on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday - please refer to the calendar on DK website to confirm availability.
