Sudlow Intermediate School 1414 East Locust Street Davenport, IA 52803 Major Tryout Schedule (Baseball Ages 11-12): Last Name A-K: Sign in from 8:00 am – 8:15 am, Tryouts start at 8:30 am Last Name L-Z: Sign in from 9:15 am – 9:30 am, Tryouts start at 9:45 am *Any 10 year old trying out for Majors needs to attend the 9:45 am tryout Minor AAA Tryout Schedule (Baseball Ages 9-10): Last Name A-H: Sign in from 10:30 am – 10:45 am, Tryouts start at 11:00 am Last Name I-M: Sign in from 11:45 am – 12:00 pm, Tryouts start at 12:15 pm Last Name N-Z: Sign in from 1:00 pm – 1:15 pm, Tryouts start at 1:30 pm *Any 8 year old trying out for Minor AAA needs to attend the 1:30 pm tryout Minor AA Tryout Schedule (Baseball Ages 7-8): Last Name A-K: Sign in from 2:15 pm – 2:30 pm, Tryouts start at 2:45 pm Last Name L-Z: Sign in from 3:30 pm – 3:45 pm, Tryouts start at 4:00 pm *Any 6 year old trying out for Minor AA needs to attend the 4:00 p.m. tryout Age groups that are required to attend tryouts:  Ages 11 and 12 – Attend Major Tryouts (kids age 10 have the option to tryout for Majors).  Ages 9 and 10 – Attend Minor AAA Tryouts (kids age 8 have the option to tryout for Minor AAA).  Ages 7 and 8 – Attend Minor AA Tryouts (kids age 6 have the option to tryout for Minor AA). Notes:  Kids age 6 only have to tryout if they want to play Minor AA. If they do not, they will be placed on a T-Ball team.  Davenport East Little League allows kids ages 6, 8, and 10 to tryout for the next highest division. It is important that all parents understand that there is no guarantee that a player will be moved up a division.  Any player trying out for the higher division that is not selected for that division will be drafted within their traditional age group.
