How to Subscribe, Rate, and Review a Podcast in iTunes The more subscriptions, ratings and reviews you get for your podcast on iTunes, the higher up you will rank in the New and Noteworthy. The guide below takes you through all of the steps you need to take to subscribe, rate, and review a podcast in iTunes. (You can share this with your tribe to make it easy for them to rate and review your podcast!) 1. If you don’t have iTunes on your computer, download the application at www.itunes.com (It works for Mac and PC)
2. Click on the “Podcasts” section in the iTunes store:

3. Search for the Podcast by Name, in Upper Right Hand Corner “Search Store” Function
You can also share the direct URL to your iTunes channel. This is provided to you when you receive your approval e-mail from iTunes. Here’s an example:

4. Click on the “Subscribe” button to subscribe to the podcast:

5. Click on “Ratings and Reviews”
6. Scroll over the stars to leave a (5 star!) rating:
7. Click on “Write a Review” under customer reviews:

8. Fill in the text of your review and click submit:
Now it’s time to take action! Share your podcast with the world and ask people to rate and review your podcast! Note: When you leave a review on iTunes, it will not show up immediately on your page. It may take several days for the review to be visible.
