Day 3 The Instant Switch: into thinking BIG! If I asked you what you wanted more: a used unicycle or a shiny new Ferrari, what would you say? You’d be amazed. So many people can’t even allow the possibility of having that Ferrari. They think they don’t deserve it. Or their mind immediately goes to “Who will take care of it?” “How much gas will it take?” "Will my friends reject me?” So too often, people will take the low-paying but seemingly steady job instead of taking that small risk to create their own business that could multiply their income 10, 100, even 1000 times. Worse still – even though the templates on how to do this are all over the Internet – people don’t use their spare time to build a second business at night or on weekends because it’s too scary, or it's too comfortable to watch TV and keep following old habits learned as a child. There are so many reasons people think small and therefore stay small: fear, habit, selfdoubt – and never really seeing anyone else around them break out of small and into big. The Instant Switch is to slice right through those habits and fears and Start Thinking Big. Now. This Instant Switch is about setting a goal – making it REAL in your mind – then letting both your conscious and sub-conscious minds do the necessary work to create the actions that move you towards that goal. Without making this Instant Switch, your superpower tools – your sub and conscious mind – will have no beacon, no direction, nothing to work for. They will just toil away at keeping you “safe” where you are now. I bet that you are where you are financially because you have been playing it safe (even though safe is the new “unsafe”). You’ve been following what’s been familiar for you. You have hesitated about taking new risks because you are afraid of what family and friends might say about you being a “dreamer” or “getting too big for your boots.” 3

Do know why people do this? Cutting down those who try to do something big, to raise themselves, to create wealth? Because you are raising their anxiety about their not doing anything for their future. Your very actions to learn those new online skills, open an online store, offer your first instructional book on Amazon – whatever it may be – shows them that they are doing noting and going nowhere. In Australia, they call it “tall poppy syndrome” – they cut down the “tall poppies” – the people who apply The Instant Switch over and over and start building businesses that become million-dollar triumphs. You have to ignore those voices. I want you to think BIG!! For example, if you want more money flowing into your bank account, do not ask for a mere 5% increase on top of your current income...ask for what you really want! Ask for 15% and inclusion in the training program that gets you to the next managerial level. Skip the extra 5% if it means extra time, and instead, invest that time in building your first Internet business. There are hundreds of ways of starting a second income online that cost little and can grow exponentially, which is the beauty of the Internet. We don’t live on farms anymore. We don’t live in mill towns in the industrial revolution anymore. We don’t toil away at 16-hour days at factories. The possibilities for creating real and significant wealth is now available to all of us. So if you really want to experience what it's like to be a millionaire, for starters, think of yourself as a millionaire. Envision what that would look like for you. Where would you live? Which country? What state? It could even be more than a few! What kind of house would you have? Modern or humble? A sprawling beachside? A mountain lodge? A city apartment high above the noise? What kind of cars are you driving? A sports car? A big ol’ Caddy? A foreign car? That Ford 450 truck you’ve had your eyes on all these years. How would you be spending your day? Building your empire? Funding charities? Training under-privileged kids? Playing golf? Exploring the South Sea Islands? (I’m actually writing 4

part of this book from a Tropical Island, just feet from the water at a little café.) Cresting Mt. Kilimanjaro? Playing with your grandkids? Coaching your kids’ teams? Finally learning the piano or glockenspiel? How does it feel, just imagining living the life you already dream of? It should feel energizing. Do this enough and what it does is kick-start your energy and motivation. Do this enough and you will start taking the actions that move you, bit by bit into the success of having this life you imagine. It. All. Starts. In. The. Mind. In. The. Imagination. If you don’t put in the imaginative work to visualize the life you want to create – then all your inner tools have nothing to work toward. In fact, if you don’t make the Instant Switch into Thinking Big, all your skills, creativity, talent and unique gifts will wither and die within you. You will have passed your whole life merely surviving. Never thriving. And to me – and I’m guessing to you – there’s something tragic in that. Richard Branson visualized an airline that first day when he couldn’t catch a flight off an island in the Caribbean because the airlines running then were so inept. Steven Spielberg imagined thrilling huge audiences with images and themes they’d never seen while spending every spare minute in high school shooting movies on his little hand-held super8 camera. Michael Jordan – who was CUT from his junior high team – made the instant Switch, imagining greatness by hitting the court for 6-8 hours a day practicing, practicing, practicing, until he became not just great – but the greatest. Remember, if you worry about lack, you will attract lack – and justify your worrying. Because nothing will change, except you will get older and your worry lines deeper. If you think wealth and success, you will attract and begin to create wealth and success.

5

What you think about will vastly increase its chances of coming true. Your subconscious wants to make your thought patterns right! And it will kick your body into action and set you on the right track. So once you’ve made the Instant Switch into Thinking Big, your next step is...

Yours in Abundance,

Sandy
