Following are some exercises to help you with this. ¨ Conduct a survey of your audience to determine their interest level. You can request input from your email subscribers, social media contacts, colleagues and clients. Use SurveyMonkey.com to conduct your survey. ¨ Keep the number of survey questions to a minimum, and avoid asking for names and email addresses, as this will increase participation. ¨ Perform a keyword search, over on Amazon.com, to see if there are books and magazines related to possible topics for your course. This will indicate whether or not there is a market for these topics. Based on your strengths, areas of expertise, and what your target audience most wants and needs, what topics would you be interested in teaching? Circle the topic you feel your audience would be most interested in.
