DCSAA SPRING CHAMPIONSHIPS BEGIN THIS WEEK WASHINGTON, D.C. – The District of Columbia State Athletic Association spring championships begin this week with tennis, baseball and softball state tournaments. Please see the attached documents for full information on each state championship. • • • • •

Tennis: Tournament play in boys and girls singles and doubles begins Tuesday, May 16 at Southeast Learning and Tennis Center. Finals on Friday. Softball: Georgetown Visitation is the top seed in the eight-team tournament. Quarterfinals on Tuesday, May 16 at higher seed; semifinals on Thursday, May 18 and final on Sunday, May 21 at Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy. Baseball: Gonzaga is the top seed in the eight-team tournament. Quarterfinals on Thursday, May 18 at higher seed; semifinals on Saturday, May 20 at Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy; final on Sunday, May 21 at Nationals Park. Outdoor Track and Field: Wednesday and Thursday, May 24-25, at Gallaudet University. Unified Track and Field: Wednesday, May 24 at Gallaudet University.
