2017 Greenfield HAWKS Youth Football Program SIGN UP INFORMATION For grades 6, 7, & 8 Open to both Boys and Girls
ONLINE REGISTRATION! Please visit our website at: www.greenfieldyouthfootball.com to complete registration including all required forms. Program Cost: $190.00 per player, or $140.00 per player for families signing up two or more players. Please contact Darren at [email protected] or 414-484-5453 if you need to make alternate registration arrangements. PRE-APPROVED offline completed registration forms and all fees may also be mailed to: Greenfield Youth Football Program PO Box 28913 Greenfield, WI 53220 Teams may be limited to 35 players; any player wishing to sign up after AUGUST 5, 2017 will need to be approved by the GYFP Board-NOT the individual Head Coaches. There will be a $75.00 Volunteer fee due at sign-up. This fee will be returned to you upon completion of your scheduled volunteer commitment. A volunteer list will be made available via our website and/or by email. SIGN UP EARLY - Volunteer spots will be filled on a first come first served basis! Sign-up cost after July 1, 2017 - will be $200.00 per player No player will be allowed to practice or play until all forms, payments, physical cards have been received by the Greenfield Youth Football Program and required informational training has been completed. A maximum fee of $400.00 will be billed to you if uniforms and equipment are not turned in at the end of the season. Individual items may be billed at cost per item plus shipping and restocking fee. Players will not be able to sign up or participate in the program if equipment has not been handed in. This may also include participation in Greenfield High School Football Program. Season Fundraiser - There will be a mandatory fundraiser for all participants. Fundraising is a requirement for participation in the Greenfield Youth Football Program. Failure or refusal to participate may result in limitation or removal from the program. The success of the GYFP is dependent on the involvement of its participants. Participants acknowledge this upon registration with the GYFP. IMPORTANT: Hawks Youth Football Information Prior to the beginning of the season there will be a mandatory player/parent meeting. At this meeting a brief review of concussion precautions and guidelines, GYFP and parent/player responsibilities, will be covered. The 2017 Greenfield Youth Football coaches will be present along with the Greenfield Youth Football Board. We will discuss rules, expectations, and answer questions. Attendance is mandatory in order for your child to participate in the GYFP. The date will be announced on the GYFP website and Facebook page. The Greenfield Hawk’s Youth Football Program is a member of the AAYFL, an independent football league and operates as a select program. All participants earn their playing time, which is determined by the coaches based on practice, effort, knowledge and attitude. If needed, any necessary cuts and/or removal from the program can be made based on team size, rule violations, and attitude – based on both player and parent signed codes of conduct. The Youth Football Program is not a program under the Greenfield School District. The Youth program does however use the boundaries of the Greenfield School District to obtain most of its players.
Additional Information Required Equipment: Players need to provide non-metal cleats. A padded football girdle will be required for all players. You may purchase your own or order from Ridell. Information will be available at via the program website: www.greenfieldyouthfootball.com Socks will be provided for first time players only. Additional socks may be purchased through the program. Spirit-wear: Greenfield Youth Football spirit-wear will be available for purchase at games and online throughout the season.
