Dear Parents/Carers, THIS WEEKS’ WINNERS This week’s gold certificate winners are: Emily Brown, Frida Sheer, Anya Doliczny, Ben Pownall, Mati Williams, Nathan Lewis, Ashley Teal, Jessica Smith, Henry Wilkinson-Doyle, Oaken Bradley, Harrison Florek and James Westmore. Special Bronze awards go to Henry Wilkinson-Doyle, Emily Brown and Harrison Florek for getting 5 gold awards! This week’s tree of learning awards go to: Toby Holmes, Will van den Broek, Morgan Croft, Aidan Knight, Benji DayLewis, Connor Barrow and Ben Rowson This week’s team points winners were the Cheetahs. A special mention must also go to Isla Wilson for her Chinese writing and book on natural disasters; it was amazing! PARENTS’ EVENING LETTERS Letters for Parents’ Evening are going out today. As you can see, the dates and times are sometimes different for some classes - sorry. Unfortunately, this is due to staff working patterns and unavoidable events. Please return the letters as soon as possible, so we can allocate the best times for you. SCHOOL DISCO Volunteers are needed for this event which is on Friday 22nd January! If you are able to help out from approx. 5.45 until 7pm to setup, attend, generally help at the disco and then sweep up afterwards, please let either Ali Watkins or Lisa Mant know as soon as possible. Fancy dress for helpers is of course optional …. ! CHANGE TO LUNCH MENU Please note there is a change to the menu next week. Wednesday’s menu (Roast Gammon, Vegetarian Wellington, Jacket potato and beans) is swapping with Thursday’s menu (Shepherd’s pie, vegetable goulash, Jacket potato and tuna). The roast dinners are always popular, so please be aware this will be Thursday! THE BREAKFAST CLUB NEEDS YOUR NEWSPAPERS! Please can you send in newspapers (not glossy supplements) so that the breakfast club can make papier-mâché igloos! Many thanks. DRAMA CLUB – CHANGE OF DATE! Please note that Drama Club will run on Monday 18th January next week, NOT Wednesday 20th January. This is just a “one off” and the club will run on Wednesdays for the rest of the six sessions.
