Dear Parents, EWG Boosters is planning the “Score for the Knights” Golf Tournament. Friday, June 26th at Richmond Country Club This fundraiser will play a major role in providing our athletes with championship recognition, banquet allowances, and additional equipment that is not supported through the school’s athletic budgets. Last year’s tournament provided us with $3,085.93 to help our athletes. The fun kicks off at 12-noon with lunch and registration; shot-gun start at 1:30pm. We would love to have you join us on the golf course for the day. We have enclosed a golfer’s registration form. We accept singles, doubles, triples, and foursomes. Space is limited so please register early. If you don’t golf please consider joining us for dinner at 6:00pm. Don’t miss out on the raffle items. Our goal is to make this year’s tournament a fun and successful event, but we need help: We are requesting that all sports team (whether in season or not currently playing) sponsor a raffle basket/item. We would ask that a parent or team captains organize the donations. Baskets can be delivered to Chris McGrane by June 25, 2015. Please see contact info at the bottom of this letter. Another way that everyone can help is by purchasing or selling Tee Signs. Tee sign sponsorships are $125.00 per sign. Please consider purchasing one for your business or to send a special message (Happy Birthday; Happy Anniversary; Good Luck, etc.) to our golfers. Boosters will hold its Score for the Knights Golf Tournament. Proceeds benefit the EWG Boosters fund which are used to support our high school athletes through team recognition events and championship awards; as well as special team requests. EWG Boosters Inc. is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization chartered to support the high school student athletes of Exeter-West Greenwich. The event will be held at the Richmond Country Club in Richmond, RI. This tournament presents an opportunity to spend a day on what Golf Digest ranks as the Number 1 Public Golf Course in Rhode Island. Please join us to support our Knights.
