LANAI KIJANG ADMINISTRATIVE GUIDE HUMAN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT & TALENT DEVELOPMENT 7 – 10 April 2015, Kuala Lumpur

1. General We respectfully remind guests that Lanai Kijang is Bank Negara Malaysia’s residential facility that accommodates residents for business purposes only (i.e., training, conferences, seminar) and it is NOT a hotel. Thus, all guests of Lanai Kijang shall at all times:  Behave in a proper manner and maintain a high degree of decorum  Adhere to the following dress code:  Smart casual when dining at the Residential Café or Staff Centre Café (no round neck t-shirt, slippers).  Sleeveless shirt, short three quarter pants, sweaty and soiled sportswear are not allowed to be worn at all public areas of Lanai Kijang.  Observe and adhere to the Lanai Kijang Rules and Regulations (available in each room) 2. Location Map  Upon check-in, the Front Office will extend a copy of Lanai Kijang’s location map to all guests (a copy is also attached below).  Guests are advised to bring along the location map whenever they leave the residential facility, as it will serve as a useful guide for guests to return to Lanai Kijang by taxi/train.

3. Residential Room  Check-in time – 2.00 p.m.  Early check-in may be allowed, subject to room availability.  Check-out time – 12.00 noon  May be extended up to 2.00 p.m. upon prior request to the Front Office at no additional charges (subject to room availability).  Check-out time after 2.00 p.m. will incur charges of RM10 per hour (subject to room availability).  If you need to cancel your bookings due to unavoidable circumstances, kindly email [email protected] and copy both programme managers, at least 2 days before the programme. Otherwise, a penalty cost of one-night’s stay for the no-show will be charged. 4.

Food and Dining  Stay-in guests can dine at the Staff Centre Café (all day dining). Vegetarian food is available and all food served is Halal.  Take away food are not allowed to be brought in to the Residential Café or Staff Centre Café.  Eating within the wellness centre, swimming pool area and courts is not permitted.  There is no room service. However, special arrangements can be made for guests with disability.  Guests are allowed to consume take away food in their respective rooms.  Guests are strictly not allowed to bring pork, alcohol or strong scented food (like durian) into Lanai Kijang (inclusive of residential room).

Accompanying Spouse/Children (only for outstation/foreign guests)  Guests can bring their spouse or children of age 12 years and above during their stay in Lanai Kijang, subject to the programme manager’s discretion. Additional costs will be charged accordingly.  Children under the age of 12 are not permitted entry at Lanai Kijang.

Business Centre  The Business Centre is located at Level 4, Residential Building and is open 24/7 to all guests. It is a self-service centre. Facilities available are photocopying (minimal printing), fax, desktop computer, and internet facilities.  Users are advised to immediately delete all files after using the computers. All files will be automatically deleted after 24 hours. Lanai Kijang and the programme managers will not be accountable for any documents that are lost/deleted.

Safety & Security  Lanai Kijang is located in a quiet neighbourhood. As such, guests are advised to use the available shuttle service (to Bank Negara Malaysia HQ) or call for a taxi to go out of Lanai Kijang.  Guests can liaise with the Front office of Lanai Kijang for shuttle or taxi services.  Guests should plan their travels and provide advance notice to the Front Office of Lanai Kijang for taxi service (at least two hours before departure time). Otherwise, the waiting period is 20 – 30 minutes, or longer during peak periods.  Each room is equipped with a safe. Guests should keep their valuables and travel documents in the safe and avoid carrying large amounts of cash.

Visitors  Guests at Lanai Kijang are not allowed to bring visitors to their residential rooms.  Guests can entertain visitors at the main lobby of Lanai Kijang.

10. Emergency & Health  Guests should alert the receptionist of Lanai Kijang immediately if they face any health problems or emergency situations.  Thermometer/first aid kit is available at Lanai Kijang– Front Office (Level 2).

11. Smoking  Smoking is not allowed in Lanai Kijang except at designated areas. Kindly refer to the Front office for the exact location of the designated areas.
