Dear Visiting Athletic Teams and Athletic Trainers, The athletic training staff at Savannah College of Art and Design would like to welcome you to SCAD and make you aware of the services and coverage available during your visit. If your team is traveling without an athletic trainer, please notify our staff of your athlete’s needs and provide your team with any necessary taping supplies. We request that you provide us notification that you will not be traveling with your team at least 72 hour prior to the day of competition so that we have adequate time to prepare for your teams arrival. The following supplies and services will be made available to your athletes: Taping table for traveling teams. Water and cups will be provided on the visiting team’s bench Injury ice, bags, AED, crutches, and splint bag will be on site for all athletic events with SCAD’s athletic trainer On field coverage if your team is without an athletic trainer
Due to the fact our athletic fields are located five miles away from our athletic training room, we are unable to provide other treatment modalities. However, if you require these modalities, please contact us with at least 72 hours advanced notice and we will do our best to accommodate you.
