January 2018 Dear Local Business Owners & Friends of Cajon De Oro Little League: Building on 62 years of success, Cajon De Oro Little League continues to invest into the La Mesa/Mt Helix/El Cajon community by providing an unparalleled baseball experience to the kids and families of the area. Cajon De Oro Little League believes strongly that the need for quality fields is key to providing this and continues to invest and upgrade into its facilities. Through fundraising and a lot of community support, Cajon De Oro just opened a new field designed exclusively towards younger players and families. This spring, the investment continues as we replace the electronic scoreboard and fencing at 10400 Russell Rd, hands down the best youth baseball field in the county! The scoreboard and fencing at Forehand Field is also slated for an upgrade this month. These scoreboard replacements allows for a unique opportunity for community sponsors to become a multi-year/permanent fixture at this field. There are a limited amount of sponsorship spots available and we are looking to partner with businesses interested in supporting this project. The details can be found on the following page. Cajon De Oro Little League, a fully qualified charitable organization, has been a fixture in La Mesa, El Cajon, and the surrounding area since 1956. We have provided baseball leagues, as well as tournament and instructional opportunities for literally thousands of boys and girls through the years. Unlike many baseball little leagues, Cajon De Oro Little League does not receive any financial support from Parks and Recreations Departments to maintain and operate its three baseball fields at Fuerte Elementary School, Russell Road, and Spring Valley Academy. Your support is key to keeping these efforts moving forward. Cajon De Oro Little League has hundreds of kids that go through its program annually … and we are growing each year! We also participate in and host district tournaments & camps that will allow your advertising dollars to reach many people. Being a Cajon De Oro Little League Sponsor is a great way to display your leadership position within the local community while gaining advertising exposure. Sponsorship of a team in the Cajon De Oro Little League does not permit the Sponsor to have any rights or responsibilities in the operation of the Cajon De Oro Little League or any team in the Cajon De Oro Little League, nor does the Sponsor have any rights or responsibilities in the selection of managers, coaches or players for any team in the Cajon De Oro Little League. The Sponsor shall have the right to use the following term in advertisements, posters, brochures, newsletters, etc.: “Sponsor of a Cajon De Oro Little League team.” Any reference to the Sponsorship under this agreement must make it clear that the Sponsorship is with a team or teams in the Cajon De Oro Little League only, and NOT for Little League Baseball. Use of the “keystone logo” or any other logo of Little League Baseball is prohibited, unless permission is expressly granted in writing by Little League Baseball International.
