President’s Corner I have heard a lot of positive feedback regarding the Rav’s Q&A session he gave to the members of the shul on the topic of raising children. (I am sorry I was not able to attend as I was out of town). As always, the Rav provided much insight and hadracha in this matter. On behalf of the entire kehilla, I want to thank the Rav for giving much of his time to this event. Also, thank you to Yehoshua Goldfinger for making all the arrangements for the shiur, and Aryeh Zuckerman for providing the breakfast. We will IY”H post an MP3 recording on the shul website in the near future. I hope to have more Q&A sessions going forward. Stay tuned! Being that I did not write in last week’s bulletin, I want to take the opportunity this week to express much appreciation and thanks to Mrs. Penina Lewis, Mrs. Miriam Jacoby and the group of ladies for setting up and clearing the very lovely Chanukah Kiddush a couple weeks ago as well as for all the Shabbos mevorchim kiddushim. Your efforts bring good cheer and camaraderie to our shul, and we really appreciate all your work. Unfortunately, despite our resealing the roof over the Library and Rav’s office, we are still seeing water coming into the library. Needless to say, this is extremely frustrating to all involved. We identified other areas that may need caulking, and we’ll see if that solves our problem.
