3 Fabric Palette® Fat Quarters 1 - 12 oz. Canning jar (pin cushion jar) 1 - 24 oz. Canning jar (candy jar) 1 Small storage jar (pencil jar) 1 - 18" Decorative ribbon (optional) Handful of polyfil stuffing Craft glue Small piece of card stock Pencil and scissors Pinking shears
Before you begin Read through all instructions before beginning. Do not prewash fabrics. Press fabrics before cutting. Mix and match fabrics for lids and ties, adding additional fabrics or ribbons for more variety.
Candy Jar 1. Draw and cut a 6" circle on the wrong side of fabric. With right side up, center between lid ring and top. 2. Cut 21" long strip of coordinating fabric and tie around lid ring. If desired, add additional decorative ribbon as you tie the fabric in a bow. Secure with glue as needed. 3. Fill jar with goodies to create a colorful and decorative look.
Pin Cushion Jar 1. Draw and cut a 5" circle on the wrong side of fabric. 2. Use flat lid top to trace a circle on card stock; cut out circle. 3. Place small amount of polyfil stuffing on wrong side of fabric. Push fabric and stuffing up through lid ring with card stock circle beneath to hold it in place. Pull fabric around card stock and secure with glue. 4. Press firmly and screw both parts of lid to jar top. www.fabriceditions.com

5. Cut 21" long strip of coordinating fabric and tie around lid ring and secure with glue as needed. 6. Fill jar with sewing notions and add pins to pin cushion top for convenient and colorful storage.
Pencil Jar 1. Tear a 1" x 21" strip of fabric. 2. Tie fabric strip in a bow around top of jar and trim ends. 3. Fill with pencils for organized and colorful storage.
Finished care instructions Wipe with damp cloth as needed.
