Derry Football Association Financial Assistance Application Derry Demon Youth Football and Cheer is pleased to offer financial assistance for athletes who are in need in order to play football or cheer. A formal evaluation process will be initiated once the parent/guardian of the player completes and submits this application. The amount of the assistance is limited each year and is based on availability (first come first serve basis). The scholarship committee may have to make qualifying adjustments based on the availability of funds. As part of the assistance agreement, the Derry Demons will require volunteer or additional fundraising to help the program. Following this review, the applicant will be notified regarding their eligibility. Every applicant is required to contribute a minimum of 50% of the applicable registration fee. All scholarship requests are strictly confidential. The Derry Demons Board of Directors reserves the right to verify any information noted by the applicant. Information listed on this form is for the sole purpose of helping the Derry Demons Scholarship Committee determine financial aid eligibility and will not be shared with anyone except the scholarship committee and the Board of Directors.
