Description: Slime is a fun, easy and safe way for kids to learn about chemical and physical changes. Glue has an ingredient called polyvinyl acetate. The borax powder acts as a bonding agent, bonding the molecules together creating one large flexible polymer, which we know to be as slime!
Materials: 1. 1 Box of Borax Powder 2. 2 Cups of Water 3. 4 oz. of Elmer's White Glue 4. 1 Teaspoon 5. 1 Bowl 6. Green Food Coloring 7. Measuring Cup Directions: 1. Carefully pour the glue into the measuring cup. 2. Pour the cup of water into the glue and mix. 3. In your bowl, add 1 cup of water, 2-3 drops of green food coloring and 1 teaspoon of Borax powder. 4. Gently mix the glue into the bowl of newly formed Borax solution. 5. Now its time for slime! Pick up the contents of the bowl and knead until it feels dry. 6. The more you play with your slime, the less sticky and more firm it will become!
