All players must pay two sets of fees during the year. 1. AFFILIATION FEES (£33.50) are paid once a year, and cover membership of England Netball, Netball South West, Wiltshire and the Moonraker League. You cannot train or play matches unless you are affiliated. These fees should be paid in full by 30th September 2016. 2. MEMBERSHIP FEES pay for training facilities, coaching and equipment and should be paid in one payment or three instalments (1st September, 1st January and 1st March) unless otherwise agreed with the treasurer. Devizes Netball Club Code of Conduct for Players I will:  Respect the rules, regulations and requirements of the Sport, including, but not limited to, any competitions in which I participate either directly or indirectly  Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all people involved in netball, regardless of gender, marital status, race, colour, disability, sexuality, age, occupation, religion or political opinion  Recognise that individuals bring different qualities and attributes but ‘together we will excel’.  Attend training regularly and be available for matches and arrive on time for training and matches.  Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for training (preferably not match kit), and no jewellery and attend matches in recognised club kit.  Make sure nails are short and hair tied back wherever possible.  Show enthusiasm and a positive attitude at training.  Play in the right spirit of the game.  Listen to advice and respond to instructions.  Aspire to the highest standard of play you are capable of.  Show respect to all coaches, umpires, members of the club and to the opposition and display modesty in victory and graciousness in defeat; be sporting – whether I win or lose; always acknowledge the other team and the umpires at the end of the game with a hand shake or three cheers.  Never argue with an official or participant during a game and listen to and cooperate with officials’ decisions  Support less experienced members of the club  Be prepared to assist with training and umpiring during training sessions.  Consider attending coaching and umpiring courses to assist in further improving the club status.  Team captains to look after club property and ensure teams are equipped correctly.  Not use mobile phones during training or matches  With regard to social media, never post or discuss unfavourable comments about coaches, umpires, players, helpers, volunteers, parents or the club.
