League News • Sign up for snack shack duty at http://vols.pt/HR76P3. Remember, two shifts per child is required to have your $100 deposit returned. • Snack Shack tickets can be purchased and redeemed for $1 each. They make great treats for the kids after the games and sales benefit the League. • For the fashion savvy - Purchase Riviera Little League wear. • Spring Forward! - Remember to set your clocks forward Sunday, March 8th.
• 50/50 Drawings! - Tickets are $1 apiece. Winning ticket splits the pot with the League. You could be the next lucky winner! • Mark your calendars! The Hit-A-Thon will be on March 14th and 15th. Proceeds will go toward the funding of League improvements. If approved by the Torrance City Council, improvements will include the addition of lights on the Martin Chevrolet Major Field. Lights would allow for night games and less games played at South High! Picture Day will also be held that same weekend on the 15th.
Diamond Dust is published weekly every Friday and available at the Snack Shack or online at the RLL Website

50 Years for Riviera Little League at Wilson Fields This season, Riviera Li/le League celebrates its “Golden Anniversary”: 50 years of baseball at Wilson Fields and Lago Seco Park. Even though the league was officially incorporated in 1957, play began at Wilson Fields eight years later and conMnues to this day. We believe five decades in a single locaMon is certainly worth celebraMng, and that’s why all the players this season will commemorate the anniversary with a special patch on the sleeve of their uniforms.
2014 All-Star Team In the summer of 2014, the age 10/11 years old All-Star team went on a magical journey. The team, with hard work and a commitment to practice, represented Riviera Little League and South Torrance by winning the District 27 All-Star tournament. All-Star Players: Jaxon Fish, Jason Davis, Kou Matsuda, Josh Witherspoon, Jakob Ghammachi, Andrew Stovall, Kyle Guagenti, Luke Olguin, David Merryman, Jake Willoughby, Elijah Cardenas, Ethan Hayashi, Shane Lindsey, Noah Adhikari, Tad Valente, Ian Baker, Brick Webber Manager: Jon Davis Coaches: Gary Guagenti & Alex Cardenas
