Diamond Recs® Table Runner
Thursday, October 31st, 10:30-2:30 or 5:00-9:00 Taught by: Donna Hanley Cost: $20.00 + Diamond Recs® Tool + fabric This table runner was designed by Deb Tucker and was presented at the Certified Teacher’s Training mentioned above. Sew Nice already had some great gradiated 22” strips. So we pulled the strips from the shelf and Donna got busy making the sample and now you to can learn a new Deb Tucker tool and make a great table runner. Deb made her sample with similiar colors but you can use any color combination that suits your decor. You can easily add more diamonds and squares so that this project could be a bed runner or a table runner for a large table. For the comfortable beginner and beyond.
Mondo or Midi Bags

Mondo or Midi Bags
Deb has had her Mondo bag in the store on several occasions and everyone has fallen in love with this fun bag. You can make either the Mondo (large) or the Midi (small) in class. You might just decide to do one of each. We have packets of 22” strips and we will also have packets of 22” squares for you to purchase, or you might want to cut squares from your stash. The pattern comes with Quilt Smart printed interfacing. You will be applying your squares to the interfacing and then sewing to make the outside of your bag(s). You have the option of having inside pockets or not and the pattern also has a tab to sew in for attaching your keys. This will be a fun class for the beginner and beyond.
Begin Quilting
Wednesdays, October 9th, 16th, 23rd and November 6th 10:30-2:30 Taught by: Diane Marvin Cost: $40.00 + pattern + supplies Now is the time for you to learn how to quilt. This Lucky Stars pattern will be your first quilt. Learn how to quilt and start having more fun than you can imagine. This quilt can be made any size from crib to king (although we suggest starting with the throw size) by using fat quarters. The color combinations are endless and we will be glad to help you select your fabrics.

Hospice Homemade
Hospice Homemade will be holding a craft sale on Friday Dec. 6th and Saturday Dec. 7th, 2012, at Sew Nice. Hospice Homemade is hoping to recruit some new crafters and artists to diversify the merchandise at the sale. The following items are especially needed: Placemats and Table Runners - seasonal and everyday, Baby and Kid items, American Girl Doll clothing (patterns available), while the items on the list are in high demand Hospice Homemade will accept donations of any homemade items. If you would like to get more involved please contact Leslie Bernardi at 336-1487 or Mary Lou Spence at 336-4852. Items to be donated for the sale may be dropped off at Sew Nice or The Hospice House in Norwich by November 10th.
