$2,750.00 Stipend 80 hours of face-to-face Professional Development in Intel Math, designed to build teacher content knowledge in mathematics 30 hours in formative assessments design, implementation, and analysis, Connections to AZ College & Career Ready Standards, and Math Learning Communities Opportunity to purchase 6 graduate credit hours for less than $160 per credit hour Professional Development Materials

When:

The Intel Math Project helps teachers to strengthen their mathematics content knowledge and better prepare them to meet the requirements of the AZ College and Career Ready Math Standards. This course focuses on: 

The arithmetic, geometric, & algebraic aspects of operations, number theory, place value, rates, rational numbers, linear equations, & functions through a problemsolving lens.



Building fluency with problem solving, creative & critical thinking, deep conceptual understanding, accurate & efficient procedural manipulation, & collaboration.

Intel Math professional development will:



July 19-22 and July 26-29 2016 (8 - 4:30 p.m. each day)

 Deepen mathematical content knowledge &



Two-day (Fri. 4—7 p.m./Sat.8 - 4:30 p.m.) in Aug 2016 (date TBD)
