The International Cricket Council wishes to appoint a
Digital Rights Officer
The International Cricket Council (“ICC”) is the global governing body for the sport, which administers all aspects of international cricket. The role will be based at our headquarters in Dubai. We are currently looking for a Digital Rights Officer on a fixed term contract for six months, who will be responsible for managing digital rights agreements and managing delivery of digital rights to commercial partners. Principal Accountabilities Responsibilities of the Digital Rights Officer include but are not limited to the following:
Management of digital rights contracts, including approvals, compliance and operational plans
Oversee production and delivery of content, including audio-visual content, to digital rights holders
Management of digital licensee contractual obligations, including exploitation and reach reports
Oversee monitoring of digital rights licensees output
Act as the main point of contact within the organisation for digital rights partners/licensees
Oversee the production of the content for and the implementation of sponsor digital activations
Management of the ICC sponsors’ digital rights and activations, including integration, analytics and reporting
Assist in development of CRM and fans database
Work closely with the legal department on the rights protection from a digital rights perspective
Knowledge, Skills, Attitude and Experience
5 years working at an internationally recognised sports broadcaster, preferably on their digital output, or a sports agency, with a focus on digital
Experience with contract management
Excellent organization/planning skills with an eye for detail
A good understanding of digital and social media
Good verbal and written communication skills
Conditions of employment
The position is based in Dubai and will report to the Head of Media Rights, Broadcast & Digital
This is a temporary role on a fixed term contract for six months
