Cutting Instructions From the Binding Fabric, cut: seven 2-1/2” x WOF strips. Ten Square squares will be cut in the steps below. Sorting Unwrap the Ten Square pack and separate each fabric in different piles. You will have a total of: four A squares six B squares four C squares eight D squares six E squares four F squares six G squares four H squares Within each fabric stack, make pairs of squares, working to pair each fabric with a square that is most similar in color. Due to the nature of the fabric colorings and how they change subtly across the fabric, each quilt will vary slightly from the sample on the cover. Just work to pair squares that are as close as possible.

Assemble the Blocks Step 1: Place one pair of Fabric A squares right side up, side by side on the cutting surface, with the strips going up and down on both. Tip: If one half of the square is notably darker or lighter, place the squares as shown here, to aid in matching shades as the block is sewn together.

Step 2: Cut the left square from the upper left to lower right. Cut the right square from upper right to lower left. Step 3: Swap one triangle from each pair to create two blocks, as shown. Sew together along one long edge. Press the seam open or to one side. Trim to 9-1/2” square, if necessary.

Step 4: Repeat Steps 1-3 with all remaining A pairs to create a total of four A blocks. Continue in this manner with all fabric pairs, creating: six B blocks four C blocks eight D blocks six E blocks four F blocks six G blocks four H blocks
